Slava’s grandfather and parents were professional musicians who toured a lot, often taking their young son with them. Since childhood, he heard music everywhere: on stage, in the noise of the Black Sea, in the leaves of mountain trees, in the sound of engines, and the hum of big cities…
After receiving a higher musical education, which he obtained at Kyiv University of Culture and Arts, he became a choirmaster and vocal teacher by profession. He began his professional music career at the age of 40, starting in 2017.
A year later, well-known artists from Ukraine and the CIS countries began to take notice of Slava Trybuhivskyi’s work and started to purchase his songs. And one year after that, in 2019, he established his own studio, “TribuhovskyProduction,” where he not only worked as a songwriter but also as a music producer.
“This is the most interesting period in my life! When music became my profession, I began to perceive the world differently, think differently, love differently, and live differently. Music, like a true friend, supports me, listens, and offers advice. It doesn’t allow me to live life in vain or be sad…”
Today, Slava has a strong background in the show business industry as a songwriter, composer, and music producer. However, he had a dream of composing music for movies since his youth.
“Today, while watching a movie and feeling the emotions of the characters (actors), I sometimes fail to understand why the music is so weak. Why doesn’t it accentuate the actors’ performances or evoke the required emotions for a particular scene? Or sometimes, it interferes! That’s when I realized I want and can do it myself. This is how my journey into the world of cinema as a composer began. And I’m delighted about it!”
He took his first steps by working on several short films and two seasons of a series. He engaged in significant work on the full-length comedy “On Rostov” and the youth series “Favorite Terrible Neighbors.” Unfortunately, this progress was interrupted due to the onset of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine…
Today, Slava continues to create new works in various genres daily. These include drama, comedy, horror, action, and more. He composes songs, symphonic pieces, piano works, and much more.
